About us
The Ocean Youth Sailing (OYS) is a non-profit organisation founded by approximately 30 teenagers and young adults in spring of 2014 by members of the Jugendsegeln Steckborn (JSS). Today over 300 teenagers and young adults are involved in the project.

Purpose
On our self made catamaran young adults teach other young people sailing, and thereby teach them to act responsibly, teamwork and self-reliance. Practical learning experience is not only made during the building process and off-shore sailing training, but also within the scope of our community service work.
